The Town of New Gloucester, Maine, is currently accepting resumes for the position of Town Manager. New Gloucester is a vibrant community of approximately 5,900 citizens. New Gloucester has a Town Meeting/Selectmen/Manager form of government and municipal operating annual budget of $4.6 million and 58 FT and PT employees.
The Board of Selectmen is seeking an individual with strong financial management and budgeting skills; experience in economic and community development issues, demonstrated organizational leadership skills; grant acquisition and administration experience, experience with roads and public works, and the ability to communicate successfully with citizens, staff and the Selectmen. Candidates should possess responsible management experience including HR management; a willingness to learn about municipal operations, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Public or Business Administration or a related field is desirable.
