Dear New Gloucester Friends & Neighbors,
Happy August!
We are so grateful for all of you who have provided much needed food to help feed our neighbors. In July we received literally car loads of food to help fill the twice weekly boxes we distribute to those who may otherwise go hungry. We also have a new volunteer joining us. The NG Food Pantry is small but mighty and we are very proud of the important mission we serve. Thank you for your continued generosity.
Our plea for August:
• Baked beans
• Brown bread
• Jams & Jellies
• Our ongoing Healthy snacks for children & Crackers
Blessings to the volunteers at the NGXchange who publish our plea for food monthly and for all their hard work providing important community news to all of us for free. Blessings to Emily at the New Gloucester Public Library for providing an easy and accessible drop off location for your donations.
We always welcome new volunteers to help sort, pack, pick up and distribute food. If you would like a fun summer activity for the children, please call the church office at 926-3260.
