Nesterly home share program April 24 – Save the date!

Do you have an extra room in your home?

Join GNG Community Connectors and BLING for a community presentation on Thursday, April 24, from 6-7 pm at the New Gloucester Congregational Church to learn more about renting a room in your home using Nesterly.

Erik Jorgensen from Maine State Housing will share insight into how Nesterly is working in Maine so you can “Rent easily, rent safely, and rent with confidence.” The Nesterly program connects hosts who have a spare room in their home with people who are seeking a place to stay for longer than one month.

Nesterly, a national home sharing platform, is helping to fill the gap in affordable housing. The service offers older Mainers confidence by connecting and vetting compatible renters, handling background checks, lease agreements, and collecting rent. Nesterly’s mission is to build a more interconnected and affordable world one home at a time.

Find out more at nesterly.com and join us for this informative presentation on Thursday, April 24.
