MSAD 15: Remote School Day Thursday April 4

TO: MSAD 15 Community

RE: Remote School Day April 4, 2024

Based on the National Weather Service Winter Weather Advisory predicting snow beginning Wednesday evening through Thursday night, there will be no student activities after 6:00 pm today and we will have a Remote School Day Thursday, April 4, 2024. The School Board will hold their business meeting at 6:30 pm today as scheduled.

The plan for Thursday, April 4 includes the following:

  • All students will learn through remote instruction.
  • Specific information about synchronous schedules will follow from building principals today.
  • All instructional staff should work from home.
  • There will be no PATHS for MSAD 15 students.

Please note – if it appears there are wide-spread power outages in the towns of Gray and New-Gloucester, we will call a no-school storm day. We will make that decision on Thursday morning based on reports from the two municipalities and Central Maine Power. If we do opt for a storm day instead of a remote day, a school messenger call, text, and email will be sent by 5:30 AM on Thursday, April 4, 2024.
