With flags snapping in brisk winds, members of the community gathered under brilliant skies Monday morning in New Gloucester to mark Memorial Day and honor the fallen. Organized by Amvets Lunn-Hunnewell Post 6, the observance included solemn remembrances and reflections, together with a parade, stirring music and the company of neighbors, young and old.
