Luna Moths Rorschach Test

|Tom Driscoll|

Walking out onto the porch this morning I was presented with a Rorschach inkblot from Mother Nature.

What do YOU see?

Luna moths are not rare, but they are rarely seen as they are somewhat nocturnal.  They emerge from their cocoon in the early morning and hang around for a while to dry their wings.

Emerging when the weather warms up (today!) their eye-catching winged phase lasts only about 7 to 10 days, and then their life cycle proceeds to the less visible stages that we all learned in grade school.

So, what do you see, and how do you feel about this?
