Lorraine “Lorrie” Miklovich, age 65, passed away at home in New Gloucester, ME on April 26th, 2025 after a year long battle with Lyme Disease and ALS.

Born December 20th, 1959 to Judith and Ernest Albin of Weston, CT with siblings Sandy and David, Lorrie spent her youth playing basketball and softball. She is survived by 4 children; Amie, David, Benjamin, and Samuel, as well as daughter-in-laws Chelsea and Emily and Grandson Maxwell.

Lorrie was known for her desire to care for her friends and neighbors; always offering fresh fruit and vegetables from her garden or baked goods. She spent her adult life coaching little league for several of her children, as well as being involved in Destination Imagination as a coach. She worked as the operations manager for Pinetree Garden Seeds in New Gloucester for almost twenty years before retiring. Lorrie desired to spend her retirement with her husband, working on their yard and historical home as well as spending time on their boat in Casco Bay.

Lorrie made an impact on everyone she met with her insightful advice and her belief that all things happen for a reason.

A memorial viewing service will be held at Wilson Funeral Home on May 17th in Gray, ME from 1:00pm. to 3pm. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the ALS Association or a charity of your choice in her name.
