After an arduous few days, town office staff and election volunteers have completed counting ballots for local elections, the school district budget and the town warrant. Approximately 1200 people voted. Peter Bragdon was elected selectman, and Gary Harriman and Norm Chamberlain were re-elected to their seats on the school board and water district board respectively. The school budget and adult ed budgets passed, as did most of the warrant articles— with the exception of the library (#13) and planning (#15) budgets. See the complete results on the town website.
