Library Director Jay Campbell to speak at Historical Society March 16

The next meeting of the New Gloucester Historical Society will celebrate the 135th anniversary of the founding of the New Gloucester Public Library. Jay Campbell, the Library Director, will be the speaker on Thursday, March 16, at 7 p.m. in the Library building, 379 Intervale Road (Route 231).

The event is free and open to the public.

Also coming up in March, the monthly History Barn Open House will take place on Saturday, March 4, from 9 a.m. until noon. The featured exhibit will be “Celebrations.” The History Barn is located behind the Town Hall on Route 231. The Open House is free and open to the public.
