Lewiston Road grow facility at May 2 Planning Board

Site plan review of Scott Rogers’s application for a cannabis grow facility at 934 Lewiston Road and a preapplication meeting with Carl Wilcox of 1047 Intervale Road lead the Planning Board’s May 2 agenda.

The meeting begins at 7 pm in the Meetinghouse and will be live-streamed on Castus at this link.

Scott Rogers cannabis grow facility. Scott Rogers of Longmont, Colorado, wants to convert a 1,800 sq. ft residence at 934 Lewiston Road into a cannabis grow facility. The 1.8-acre parcel is in the Residential B-1 district (Map 18 Lot 20).

Rogers came to the Planning Board in October 2022. He and Joe Pugh, general contractor for the conversion, described a one-person grow operation, with grow spaces upstairs and down, maintaining the building’s 38’ x 48’ footprint. The board outlined items and information Rogers needed to submit prior to formal review, such as septic, buffering, and odor control plans. Rogers returns May 2, having submitted additional information.

Pre-application meeting – Carl Wilcox, 1047 Intervale Road. Pre-application meetings are informal and exploratory, an opportunity to ask questions and get board members’ views before committing to formal plans. Materials in the agenda packet suggest that Carl and Jan Wilcox are exploring additional lots on their parcel. Their property is located at Map 8 Lot 30/32.
