NEW GLOUCESTER – Lenora R. Conger, 72, of New Gloucester, passed away peacefully at her home on April 1, 2023, surrounded by her family and friends after a long illness.
She was the daughter of Ernest and Marjorie Westleigh and was raised in the Bethel area with her large family of brothers and sisters.
Upon graduation from high school, Lynn went to nursing school and became a registered nurse. After nursing school, she joined the United States Air Force and attained the rank of first lieutenant.
While in the Air Force, Lynn met her best friend and husband, Kevin Conger, and they began an incredible journey that lasted 47 years. Upon their separation from the Air Force, Lynn and Kevin drove back to Maine and began building their life together. Keep reading
