New Gloucester voters elected Carolyn (Connie) Justice and Rachel Lyn Rumson to the Select Board and returned incumbents Penny Collins and Misty Coolidge to the School Board in the June 10 municipal election. Vaughn Hardesty was elected a Water District Trustee in a write-in vote.
Gray and New Gloucester voters appear to have narrowly voted down the MSAD 15 school budget by a margin of 19 votes. New Gloucester passed the budget convincingly–567 Yes to 425 No–but opposition in Gray made the difference, with 644 Yes to 805 No, according to the Clerks’ counts.
