Each year, the Select Board’s first meeting after the June municipal election includes a raft of items related to the new board and its annual assignments. The June 17, 2024, meeting is no exception, as incumbent Stephen Hathorne was re-elected to another term and former member Peter Bragdon returns to the board.
Agenda items include electing a board chair and vice chair and deciding which member will serve as liaison for the coming year to the Town’s several committees and boards.
Also on the June 17 agenda are bid openings for a new Public Works loader, for a new dump truck cab and chassis, body, and plow and sander gear, for the paving and chip seal contract for the coming year and for repairs to the small garage at the Town Hall Complex. The board will also consider additional appointments to boards and committees and more.
