Dear New Gloucester,
Please join us on Maine Statehood Day for A Birthday Party!
Maine became the nation’s 23rd state March 15, 1820, and March 15th, 2020 marks the beginning of Maine’s Bicentennial Year Celebration.

Come help us kick off the Bicentennial celebration in New Gloucester on March 15th from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at the New Gloucester Library.

The party will include:
• Raising Maine’s Bicentennial Flag
• The GNG High School Band and Chorus
• The AMVET’S Color Guard
• State Representative Amy Arata
• State Senator Ned Claxton
• Birthday cake, punch, and cocoa

This event is cosponsored by the New Gloucester Library and the New Gloucester Historical Society.
