In-person and absentee voting information, Town Hall closures

Absentee ballots should go in the Town Hall mail slot

IN-PERSON VOTING AT THE FIRE STATION:

Polls are open from 6am to 8pm on Tuesday – July 14th – Fire Station (611 Lewiston Road)

Please keep in mind the following COVID-19 protocol:

  • Masks must be worn when entering the building to vote
  • Wait times could be longer than normal due to the minimal number of voters allowed into the polls
  • Please speak up when stating your name and address to the Election Clerks
  • Pens will be handed out to each voter.  Please take them with you when done voting
  • There will be no public restrooms at the facility

VOTING BY ABSENTEE BALLOT:

  • All Absentee Ballots must be returned to TOWN HALL by 8pm on Election Day (Tuesday/July 14th)
  • Please place ABSENTEE BALLOTS into the Mail Slot beside the Front Door of Town Hall (during Town Hall closures!
  • Please DO NOT bring ABSENTEE BALLOTS to the Polls!

The COVID-19 protocols are new to all of us for Election Day.  We ask for your patience during this election.  Thank you for your cooperation!

TOWN HALL ELECTION CLOSURES:

New Gloucester Town Hall will be closed the following days/time to allow staff to prepare/finish election paperwork:

  • Monday July 13 – Town Hall closing at 12pm (early processing of State Absentee Ballots)
  • Tuesday July 14 – Town Hall closed all day
  • Wednesday July 15 – Town Hall closed all day
    (Processing/Counting of Town Election Ballots)
