Home delivery: NG Fire Rescue assists mother and newborn

| New Gloucester Fire Rescue |

From New Gloucester Fire Rescue post on Facebook:

“After clearing a mutual aid hazmat call last night, New Gloucester Ambulance 1 responded for a patient in active labor. A1 arrived on scene to find the patient had delivered a baby boy. Engine 3 responded from the same mutual aid call to provide additional personnel, and Gray Fire Rescue Ambulance 48 responded as well (since there were now two patients). Additional assistance was also given by the Cumberland County Sherriff’s Office, who first responded. Ambulance 1 and Gray Ambulance 48 each transported a patient without incident to a local hospital. Congratulations!”
