Gray-New Gloucester High School ranked in Maine’s top ten

US News and World Report does an annual ranking of schools across the country. This year, GNG ranks #6 in Maine, out of 106 high schools, based on students’ performance on state-required tests, graduation, and how well they prepare students for college. GNG also ranked #4 in the Portland area, and #5,333 nationally.

Pretty impressive!

Here’s the US News overview of our high school: Gray-New Gloucester High School is ranked sixth within Maine. Students have the opportunity to take International Baccalaureate coursework and exams. The IB participation rate at Gray-New Gloucester High School is 24%. The total minority enrollment is 9%, and 22% of students are economically disadvantaged.
