Here is your reminder that the Friends of the New Gloucester Library are sponsoring four upcoming events, starting with two book collection dates: Thursday, August 4 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the New Gloucester Library (379 Intervale Road) and Saturday, August 6 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the New Gloucester Community Building (behind the Library).
Please remember that the Friends are especially interested in children’s books, and adult fiction and non-fiction books. Please limit donations to two cartons or four grocery sized bags. We will be unable to return the containers items are donated in. Staff will not be able to assist in unloading donations. All donations should be clean and free of odors, mold, and mildew. As a reminder we are not accepting Reader’s Digest Condensed, encyclopedias, magazines, VHS tapes, DVDs or CDs. Thank you for your continued support!
On Saturday, August 6 from 12 to 2 p.m. at the Community Building, dues paying members of the Friends of the New Gloucester Library will have early shopping access to the book sale!! Not a member of the Friends? No problem, sign up for a Friends membership on the spot and join in the early shopping!
The Friends will hold a Book and Bake Sale on Sunday, August 7 from 1 to 4 p.m. in the New Gloucester Community Building.
