Feedback on the draft comprehensive plan

|Debra Smith|

You should have received a mailer about the comprehensive plan update in the past few days. Your feedback on the draft is very important in order for the committee and town planner finalize the plan, which will go to the select board before being voted on in town meeting (or however voting takes place this spring.)

The Comprehensive Plan Update Committee has been meeting since January 2018 to review the old plan (circa 1990) and draft a new one, with Scott Hastings, our town planner, pulling together data, making maps and doing most of the writing for the committee. Other town committees and other groups have been asked for input along the way, we did a survey of residents and Scott did a focus group with high school students to capture their thinking about our community. (Yes, they want more places to go and things to do!) The draft plan builds on all of this and is now available for your review and feedback.
