Learn to paint funky, colorful pet portraits in this 2.5 hour workshop with local artist Gabrielle Stratmann of Bug-eyed Co. No experience necessary!
We’ll start with drawing and sketching techniques, and learn how to use watercolors, pencils, and acrylagouache to create a final painting on wood to hang in your home. Our pet portraits will be full of character and highlight the goodest pets on the planet!
All supplies are included: Watercolor, Paper, Final Wood Piece for finished painting, palette, instructional handout, paint, and use of Gaby’s brushes, pens, and pencils.
Perfect for Beginner to Intermediate levels.
Gabrielle Jolie Stratmann infuses her whimsical sense of humor into distinct illustrations depicting snails, bugs, and animals. She loves to spend hours outdoors in her favorite state, Maine, observing little creatures in their natural worlds. Gabrielle enjoys creating with all different mediums from watercolor to embroidery.
