Carole Wise will bring her extensive experience as a Maine-based singer/songwriter to our local stage at the Village Coffee House in on March 2 at 7 pm. Carole combines her nuanced and lyrical song writing with her intricate guitar/mandolin playing to create songs of love, loss, finding self, and society’s issues – always with a silver lining.
Wise released a single, In My Hometown, on December 29, 2023, in response to the October tragedy in Lewiston, Maine, which is Carole’s hometown.
Carole’s first CD, The Long Way Home, charted in the top 20 on Folk radio in 2021. Since then, she has performed in both virtual and on well-known stages across the country from Maine to California. We are lucky to have Carole performing her new CD, North Star, which has a release date of February 2, 2024 — before she begins a new touring season in April 2024. She will also be joined by her bass player who will add another dimension to her already soulful and sensory singing and songwriting.
