Habitat Brunch Trail Walk @Cousins River Field and Marsh (Yarmouth)

The Royal River Conservation Trust, the Freeport Conservation Trust and Maine Coast Heritage Trust worked together for two years to ensure that this 80 acre parcel of land would be conserved for the future. Large fields, stately oaks and a salt marsh teeming with life make this conservation project an exciting success for all of the organizations. During this walk we’ll talk about salt marshes and their value in the face of climate change. We’ll talk about partnerships and how working together we can save more land.

Directions: This parcel is located at the corner of East Main St. in Yarmouth and Granite St. Coming from Yarmouth, turn right on Granite street and look for a dirt rd. about 1/2 way down the rd. on your right.
