Book drop-off at Community Building for Friends’ Book Sale

For our upcoming Book and Bake Sale, we will have two book collection dates: Thursday, August 4 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the New Gloucester Library (379 Intervale Rd) and Saturday, August 6 from 9 am to noon at the Community Building (381 Intervale Rd, behind Town Hall).

The Friends are especially interested in donations of children’s books and adult fiction and non-fiction books. Please limit donations to 2 cartons or 4 grocery sized bags. We will be unable to return the containers items are donated in. Staff will not be able to assist in unloading donations.  All donations should be clean and free of odors, mold, and mildew. As a reminder, we are not accepting Reader’s Digest Condensed, encyclopedias, text books, magazines, VHS tapes, DVDs or CDs.
