The following table includes detailed local election results, with brief descriptors for the warrant articles included. The select board will discuss the library and planning votes at their meeting on Monday night, and consider meeting with the budget committee before bringing these two articles back to the voters with new numbers. Clearly, many people got the message that a NO vote on the library meant support for restoring staffing. The negative vote on the planning department is puzzling. Was this influenced by the budget committee number on the warrant, which showed a much lower amount than the board proposed? The budget committee had not had the opportunity to revise their recommendations before the warrant went to press.
