Stop by Norumbega Cidery on Saturday afternoon and try out some disc golf with JoySwich on a pop-up course in the nearby field and woods. Joyswich will be there from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Discs will be available for free and a map of the course is available.
Bring the family and a picnic lunch and check out nearby trails along Talking Brook and Big Falls Preserve. Maps of the trails are available here. You can park and access the trails from the Cidery when it is open. For the younger kids, a new Gaga Pit is also available.
Top off the afternoon with cider tastings. Try some of the specialty barrel series, including Mezcal, Calvados, Dry Vermouth and Chartreuse – only available on site.
The Norumbega Cidery will be open on both Saturday and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. all weekends through October. The Cidery is located at 380 Woodman Road in New Gloucester.
