The Select Board (Municipal Officers) will be making appointments to fill seats on town boards and committees at their upcoming Special Meeting on Monday, June 27, at the Meetinghouse.
If you’re interested in being considered for appointment or re-appointment, applications are due Tuesday, June 21.

According to the Boards & Committees page of the town website, the following committees have openings. Most appointments will be for three-year terms:
Board of Appeals
Budget Committee
Cable TV Committee
Candidate Referendum Committee
Community Fair Committee
Economic Development Committee
Environmental Resources Committee
Land Management Planning Committee
Library Board of Trustees
Parks & Recreation Committee
Planning Board
Completed applications can be dropped off at the Town Office, 385 Intervale Road, during open hours. Please note that the Town Office will be closed Monday, June 20, in honor of Juneteenth. There is also a mail drop slot by the Town Hall front door.
The application form can be also be converted and completed as a Word document and emailed as an attachment to Recorder and Deputy Clerk Sharlene Myers at smyers@newgloucester.com. Completed applications can also be faxed to the Town Office at fax (207) 926-4136.
