New Gloucester town hall, recreation, library and transfer station will be closed on Wednesday, June 19 in honor of Juneteenth.
If you need a cool space during the heat wave this week, the NG Library welcomes you during open hours (Tue til 7 pm Thu from 9am to 4pm).
Gray has several buildings open as cooling centers:
Gray Public Library – 5 Hancock Street
- Tuesday: 9:30 a.m.-7:00 p.m.
Newbegin Gym – 20 Main Street
- Wednesday: 9:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m.
Gray Public Library – 5 Hancock Street
- Thursday: 9:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
- Friday: 9:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 9:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
