The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office sponsors an annual Community Police Academy for residents of Cumberland County. This year, the Academy is taking place over six sessions at the Raymond Fire Department.
It’s an opportunity for people to learn about all of the activities of the Sheriff’s Office, and perhaps find that they want to volunteer in some way.
Two sessions have already taken place, but Lieutenant Andrew Feeney, who oversees the program, said new participants are welcome. There’s no session the week of school break, the next one, a jail tour, is scheduled April 23. See the full schedule below. Questions? Email Lieutenant Andrew Feeney at afeeney@cumberlandcounty.org
