Coming in April: Community clean-up for Earth Day

Earth Day is Monday, April 22, and the Gray-New Gloucester Optimist Club is again organizing a community clean-up, with gift certificates as a thank-you for some lucky participants.

Who:  Anyone! Family, friends, teammates, schoolmates, or just you. 

What:  Commit to pick up trash or litter for a minimum of one hour in your community. Maybe take a picture to share on our Facebook page.

When:  Earth Day Weekend – Anytime from Sat. April 20 through Earth Day Monday April 22

Where: Around your neighborhood, streets, playgrounds, parks, business, or wherever you see it. 

Why: Help make your neighborhood cleaner and possibly win one of our gift certificates!
