On Tuesday July 1st, the Coastal Winds Community Band will present a concert at First Congregational Church of New Gloucester (19 Gloucester Hill Rd). Donations will be accepted to support the New Gloucester Food Pantry.
If the weather cooperates, the concert will be held on the church lawn. Bring a lawn chair or blanket. In the case of rain, the concert will be held in the sanctuary. The music begins at 6:30pm. There will be a bake sale table selling refreshments. Bring a friend and enjoy an evening of music!
The Coastal Winds Community Band, under the direction of Brendan Krueger, was founded in 2000. The band is comprised of volunteer musicians who perform a wide range of music all year round. They were last in New Gloucester for their annual Christmas concert.
The New Gloucester Food Pantry is open to any New Gloucester resident in need of food assistance. The Food Pantry is open on the second and fourth Saturdays of every month. Monetary donations help the Food Pantry buy pantry staples and meat from the Good Shepherd Food Bank. We also welcome donations of new and unopened food items. Jelly, crackers, baked beans, cereal, and snack food like granola/cereal bars are always helpful. Find more information about the food pantry at www.ngucc.org.
