Coastal Winds, Freeport’s community band, will offer a concert of Christmas music at the First Congregational Church in New Gloucester, 19 Gloucester Hill Road, on Tuesday, December 10, at 7 pm.
Coastal Winds is a 47-piece concert band (brass, woodwinds, percussion) directed by Brendan Krueger. The church’s Director of Music, John Terison, is a mainstay of the trumpet section. Coastal Winds has appeared in New Gloucester twice before, in 2013 and 2015, to enthusiastic reviews! A freewill offering will benefit the Emergency Fuel Assistance Fund.
