The New Gloucester Cemetery Association’s project to expand the available area for burials at three of the Town’s cemeteries is progressing on schedule.
Boundary surveys have been conducted and completed at the Lower Yard on Gloucester Hill Road, the Upper Yard on Bald Hill Road, and at the Hill Yard off Route 100 and Town Farm Road.
The New Gloucester Cemetery Association’s Board of Directors will use data derived from these surveys to plot out new access roads and burial plots as part of the expansion project.
