Bradley Plante hired as Interim Town Manager

Re: Interim Manager Contract

The Municipal Officers have voted to ratify a contract with Bradley Plante, from Poland, as Interim Town Manager. He will start on August 18th and Manager Landes’s last day will be August 23rd.

Mr. Plante brings extensive experience to the position as he has served as a Town Manager in several towns including Poland and Harrison, Maine, Rockland, Massachusetts, Hampstead, Maryland and as Interim Manager,
twice, in Buckfield, Maine. He has also served as Human Resources director for Boch Enterprises in Massachusetts.

Mr. Plante is proud to be retired United State Army in which he held several positions including Military Police.

He has a master’s degree in Public Administration. He also has experience serving as Select Board Member and on a Budget Committee.

The board feels confident Mr. Plante will lead the town during this transition period. He will be in the office as the workload requires, generally at least two days a week. Mr. Plante plans on attending the community fair on Saturday to meet some people.
