Bowing out, supporting others for Charter Commission

| Letter to the editor from Kathleen Potter |

I would like to thank those of you who have been wondering why I chose to drop out of the race for the Charter Commission.  I circulated a petition to be put on the ballot with full intentions of wanting to be a part of improving the governance of our town.  However, life has a way of intervening and I learned that I have a health condition that could be made worse by being too involved in many activities.  Thank goodness my health condition is not fatal, but unfortunately it does keep me from taking on additional activities.

I support the originators of the charter petitions: Stephen Hathorne, Penny Hilton and John Salisbury.  Additionally I support Ben Tettlebaum, Peter Bragdon, and Karen Farrell.

When you go to the polls you are voting for the future of our town and the generations to come.  Carpe Diem!
