New Gloucester resident Steve Westra will read his book Rudder and the Great Blue Heron at the New Gloucester Library today, July 13, at 1 p.m.
Come enjoy this tale of a lively golden retriever puppy who learns about friendship, thanks to the animals and people on a Maine island.
The reading will be followed by a craft activity. Bring your family and friends for this special event with a unique local flavor!
The New Gloucester Public Library is located at 379 Intervale Road, in the Town Hall Complex.
