Dear New Gloucester friends and neighbors,
We are so grateful to all of you for providing much needed food items to the New Gloucester Food Pantry. Our plea monthly is for items that we are unable to get through Good Shepard and help us provide a well-rounded box of food for those in our community who may otherwise go hungry.
Our April food request:
- Pasta – both elbow macaroni & long spaghetti
- Mayonnaise
- Mustard
- Ketchup
- Crackers
- Hot chocolate
- Jams/jelly
We are fortunate to have a convenient drop-off location for your donations at the New Gloucester Public Library thanks to Emily and Ellie. We are also fortunate to have the volunteer staff at the NGXchange for providing important community news, including our monthly food requests, at no cost.
If you know of neighbors in need, please let them know we distribute food the 2nd & 4th Saturday mornings each month from 8:30 to 10 a.m. behind the First Congregational Church of New Gloucester.
We always welcome new volunteers of all ages to help sort, pack, pick up and distribute food. If you are interested, please call the church office 926-3260.
