A retired civil engineer, Paul now enjoys hiking, sailing, beekeeping and being a grandfather. Originally from Illinois and Iowa, Paul made his way to Maine working on several hospital projects, including the Maine Medical Center. During a 25+ year career with Hannaford Bros. Co. he was involved with the building and remodeling of most of the Hannaford stores in our area. Paul has traveled extensively, visiting all 50 states, Canada, Europe, Central America, Australia and New Zealand. Paul and his wife Carol are part of the effort to monitor Sabbathday Lake for invasive plants and promote a healthy lake.
