DESIGNER AND PHOTO EDITOR
Fred joined the NGX team back in 2019 as a volunteer in charge of updating the look of the NGX brand and designing and maintaining the new website. He serves as Photo Editor and also takes care of whatever graphic design needs come up. He and his wife Kimberly moved to New Gloucester back in 2014, having decided that Somerville, Massachusetts – however awesome a city – was getting much too crowded. After extensive research (multiple trips to Maine), they decided that New Gloucester was the best fit for them, and they could not have been more correct. During normal business hours, Fred works as the Graphics Manager for the international telecom / media / technology consulting firm Cartesian, helping them with PowerPoint, Word, and Photoshop requests – a job he has held for 24 years. Prior to that… well, who cares, it was in another lifetime. As for this Maine lifetime, Fred enjoys being on the water, sitting next to a fire and watching the stars come out, volunteering for the New Gloucester Parks & Rec Department, participating in the Lower Village Halloween activities, and generally enjoying everything that this great state has to offer.
