Diantha was a resident of New Gloucester and attended Memorial School until fourth grade. Her dad was Bob Hawkes of Opportunity Farm. She and her husband Don decided to be Maine residents again after 30-plus years in Florida. They winterized the lake house at Sabbathday and love being back from away. Diantha spent most of her working career in education and nonprofit management. Until COVID, she was a tour guide at Shaker Village and last summer was a docent at the Poland Spring Bottling Museum. Diantha and Don have two whippets, Chase and Reacher.
