Diane is a retired journalist and educator who has written for NGX and served as an advisor with the editorial team. After many years as summer residents of New Gloucester, she and husband John settled in year-round at Sabbathday Lake in 2017 when they retired, promptly diving into volunteering locally. Wherever her path has taken her across New England, Diane has remained committed to community service and to the critical importance of local journalism for fostering civic engagement. In her free time, Diane enjoys quilting, travel and family.
