Congratulations and many thanks to the Committee members that organized this year’s special Community Fair Celebration. It was indeed a marvelous grand finale to the year-long 250th birthday celebration of the founding of New Gloucester.
I can only begin to imagine the hundreds of hours spent planning the various year-long festivities. In addition to the Committee members, kudos to the extra volunteers for their work as well.
The Parade was spectacular, the floats terrific, and it was gratifying to see the huge number of NG residents smiling and waving as the parade made its way to the Fairgrounds. The weather was perfect, the food trucks were busy, lots of organizations were represented under the tents, and it was especially gratifying to see so many happy families in attendance. All in all, a truly amazing turnout.
So, thank you, thank you, and Happy Birthday, New Gloucester!
