New Gloucester Fire Rescue members were able to have a special reunion Tuesday evening with a patient from a call earlier this year. Just after 11pm on January 2nd, New Gloucester Fire Rescue responded for a woman in labor with twins. Responders arrived on scene and quickly assessed the patient, discovering a life-threatening obstetrical emergency. On duty and call company responders were able to intervene, transport, and deliver the patient to Maine Medical Center. Not long after arriving at the hospital, twin girls Piper and Hazel were welcomed to the world.

Congratulations on two beautiful baby girls, and thank you for the visit, card, and cookies.
