A busy Sunday at Town Hall complex

From the road today, Town Hall looked as placid as usual on a Sunday afternoon. But behind the building, a buzz of community activity was taking place.

— Members of the Environmental Resources Committee were on hand to help residents pick up new home composting bins, a special collaborative initiative.

— Meanwhile, a class in the raised-bed organic gardening series was getting under way nearby. The gardening series is sponsored by the library.

— And residents were stopping by to donate books for the Friends of the Library’s upcoming Book Sale. Another book donation drop-off is planned for next Sunday, June 12, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Find details about donating and the Friends’ June 19 Book Sale here.
