Dear New Gloucester Community,
Next month, the New Gloucester Public Library will be 135 years old! What an accomplishment! In recognition of this important landmark, the Friends of the New Gloucester Library are introducing a matching appeal to do what we do best: support the mission of the Library.
The Happy 135th Birthday Match Appeal is our way to present a wonderful gift to the Library at its Birthday Party on March 12th. The Friends’ goal is to offer a 1:1 match up to a total of $2,000 for this appeal. That’s a potential goal of $4,000! The appeal helps the Library in its quest to purchase books to bring it up to the standard suggested for a community of our size.

There will likely be a small fee if you use Venmo.

Finally, this contribution is fully tax deductible and is separate from our Friends’ membership. The deadline for Birthday Match donations is March 15, 2023.
