Family Night at Pineland Farms

Pineland Farms will celebrate the end of summer with their second Family Night, a festive evening of folk music and dancing is planned for Thursday, August 27th.

Performing a lively mix of old-time jigs-&-reels music will be the multi-generational fiddle ensemble Les Bijoux (The Jewels), whose members range from age 10 to “ageless.”

Folk dance instructor/caller Cindy Larock will be on hand to lead attendees in an assortment of fun and easy square and contra dances, which she describes as “designed for anyone old enough to know their left from their right,” making them user-friendly for school-age youth as well as their parents and grandparents. For those interested in a more relaxing evening, bring a picnic and just enjoy the show.

The Family Night event will be held rain or shine from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Pineland Farms’ spacious events tent. Family Night is open to people of all ages.  There will be additional activities for children.  Admission is $5 per person, with tickets available at the Welcome Center.
