A combination public hearing by the New Gloucester Planning Board and workshop by the town’s Land Management Planning Committee occurred on Sept. 1. The meeting was recorded by NGTV volunteers and is scheduled for telecast at 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 16, Saturday, Oct. 17, and Sunday, Oct. 18, on cable access Channel 3. The program is also available for online viewing at www.newgloucester.com.
The subject of the public hearing is proposed zoning ordinance revisions that add a section pertaining to the Upper Village district. The workshop examines a draft of the “New Gloucester Upper Village Plan 2015.” A special town meeting is being planned for the fall.
The Land Management Planning Committee meets regularly on the 4th Wednesday of every month in the New Gloucester Meeting House located at 389 Intervale Road. Committee meetings are open to the public – we encourage you to attend and share your thoughts with us.
