Norumbega Farm abuzz with business

On secluded Woodman Road, there’s a sprawling farm, 3½ businesses and one industrious family.

Norumbega Cidery, run by Noah Fralich, operates on his family’s farm in New Gloucester. Noah has planted an orchard of apple trees for future use and does all aspects of the cider operation from pressing the apples in the fall to bottling in the spring, summer and fall.

Laura Fralich runs Queen Beet Designs and makes T-shirts with clever vegetable puns. The shirts are for sale at the family’s farm in New Gloucester and on Etsy.

Julie and Michael Fralich have a double-yurt rental at Norumbega Farm that hit Airbnb this summer to rave reviews. Their son, Noah, presses and bottles commercial hard cider from one of their barns. Keep reading
