Re: High School Closure
Unfortunately, we will have to close the high school. The high school will open again Monday, November 30, 2020. The buses will begin collecting students at the high school today around 12:30 p.m. Students and staff should bring all their school materials home with them.
We are activating remote instruction for the high school during this school closure beginning tomorrow.
All other students at the middle school, Dunn School, Russell School, and Memorial School will be dismissed at their normal time; however, these buses may run a bit late.
There have been two unrelated, positive COVID-19 cases confirmed at the high school (1 student and 1 teacher). Close contacts will be notified today by a school staff member. If you do not receive a call, this means you or your child were not identified as a close contact. There are no cases or suspected cases in the other schools.
We will send out another memo with more details very soon.
