Meeting with State Rep Ellie Espling about natural resources bills April 30th

The 127th Maine Legislature is in full swing in Augusta, considering several bills that would impact, for better or for worse, Maine’s clean air, water, land, and wildlife. In the coming weeks the Legislature will vote on critical issues including metallic mining rules, boosting in-state solar power, and helping to fund home weatherization projects.

Your State Representative Ellie Espling will cast important votes on these and other environmental issues. She needs to hear from you, voters in her district, who support strong protections for Maine’s environment. On that note…

Please join me for a constituent meeting with your State Representative Ellie Espling next Thursday, April 30 at 6:30 p.m. at the New Gloucester Meeting House located at 389 Intervale Road right next to the New Gloucester town office.

Please attend and urge Representative Espling to support strong protections for Maine’s environment in the Legislature. We will discuss the following proposed legislation:

Information about each of these bills can be found at our legislative tracking page.

NRCM is working to maintain and advance strong protections for Maine’s environment, but time and again legislators tell us that hearing from their constituents like you on environmental issues makes a big impact on their vote.

Please RSVP by replying to this email or by giving me a call at (207) 430-0115. I am happy to provide you with information about the agenda and directions to the meeting. Please spread the word to your neighbors and friends in New Gloucester and Poland and encourage them to join you.

I look forward to seeing you in New Gloucester next Thursday, April 30 at 6:30 p.m.for this constituent meeting with Representative Ellie Espling.

Sincerely,
Todd Martin, NCRM Outreach Coordinator
