The Village Coffeehouse opens for the season on Saturday night. JC (Jeff Christiansen) will be offering up some favorite pop, blues and folkish songs and instrumentals from 50 years of guitar playing and singing. JC will get a little help from his friends for a first set and then be joined by the New J. Worthington Foulfellow Jug Band, back for an encore after a much needed 50 year break. Jere DeWaters will be ready to wow the audience with his washboard magic!. As always, the Coffeehouse is at the vestry of the First Congregational Church, 19 Gloucester Hill Road; show starts at 7:30. The Coffeehouse has performers the first Saturday of the month from September to May.
